Beneath the majestic peaks of the Belianske Tatry (Belianske Tatra Mountains) lies one of Slovakia's most fascinating natural treasures – Belianska Cave. It is the only cave open to the public in the High Tatras. It offers a magical glimpse into an underground world of stalactite formations, chambers, halls, and subterranean lakes.
Over 1,300 meters long, the tour route leads visitors through spaces with evocative names such as the Music Hall, the Dome of Ruins, and the Collapsed Dome. The cave sometimes feels like an underground cathedral due to the lighting and excellent acoustics.
A pleasant 20-minute walk through the forest from the village of Tatranská Kotlina precedes the cave visit. During this walk, you can breathe in the mountain air and prepare for an adventure deep within the rocks.
