Although ZOO Spišská Nová Ves is the smallest of the four zoos in Slovakia, it is one of the most beautiful and pleasant. Located in the stunning surroundings of the Local Forest Park, it offers a unique atmosphere where you can relax from the hustle and bustle of the city and explore the fascinating world of animals.
In the vast and beautiful 8-hectare area, you will find more than 110 species of animals from various parts of the world. Here, you will encounter majestic lions, colorful parrots, adorable meerkats, llamas, kangaroos, and rare gibbons. The zoo also includes a contact area where children can pet or feed domestic animals such as goats and ponies.
In addition to the animals, the ZOO also offers pleasant places to relax, playgrounds, and educational programs that playfully introduce visitors to the world of nature.
